Madonna Becomes First Woman With a Billboard 200 Top 10 Album in Each Decade Since 80s

The “Queen of Pop” still reigns! At 64 years old, Madonna is still topping the charts with her latest album, “Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones,” which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This makes her the first woman to have a charting top 10 record in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s, according to Billboard.

To further drive this home, this makes the “Queen of Pop” the first woman – and only the 10th artist to achieve this milestone, according to Billboard. Only nine other artists have accomplished this major achievement – and they’re all male! This impressive roster includes Paul McCartney, Prince, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Def Leppard, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Robert Plant, and AC/DC.

This proves that Madonna is timeless and more relevant than ever! Especially given the fact that the musical trailblazer now ranks second on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart behind Taylor Swift, who has 10 No. 1 records in that category!
